In my humble opinion this is the best book written to-date on the Western European Arms and Armor Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The annotations to the photographs are a treasure trove of facts and information on the European arms. Special emphasis on the rapiers and small-swords. Sadly, one of the authors, world-renown Western European Arms authority Leonid Tarassuk passed away tragically.

Light rubbing and wear to the covers, otherwise an excellent copy, and a must-have book. Long out of print.
