Description
This beautiful Spanish spade de concha's dates to late 17th c. Blade is 98 cm long, marked IN SOLINGEN on both sides. Rapier is 112 cm overall. The wonderful hand-chiseled hilt features stylized lions, crowns, birds, florals and has decorative cut-outs on the edges. The rapier is tight and nicely-balanced. Excellent, expressive Spanish sword!
