SPANISH IMPERIAL MODELO 1857 NAVAL OFFICER'S SWORD

This fine Toledo-made Spanish Royal naval officer's sword dates ca.1860-1880. Pipe-back blade with a quill-point is beautifully decorated with the renditions of the Spanish Royal Crest, MARINA ESPANOLA and a fouled anchor. Reverse folding counter-guard is personalized with the officer's name - L.PEREZ. Blade is 74 cm-long, fine, with some minor rust bites. An excellent Spanish naval officer's sword with a provenance!
