This book is profusely illustrated with b/w photographs of the various small arms, handguns, swords, dirks, blunderbusses, cutlasses, long guns of the American sea-borne branches of service- the Navy, the Marines and the Coast Guard, from the Revolutionary War onward. An indispensable reference, even after 40+ years! Condition: Dust jacket has some acceptable losses on the edges. This book was in the reference library of W. Scott Ferris, a noted collector of early American small arms and accouterments, and was purchased by him from George W. Juno, as inscribed on the flyleaf and end-paper. Book is in fine condition, and the dust jacket was lovingly preserved in clear mylar by yours truly.
