This rare early Polish officers Model 1921/1922 [wz.21] sword is marked A.MANN WAR on the reverse ricasso, which stands for the Warsaw / Warszawa maker and retailer A.Mann, one of the two cutlers which supplied the officers swords; the other being the more prolific G.Borowski. The sword is in original, untouched condition. Guard is somewhat deformed. The unusual characteristic of this sword is the shorter, 67.5 cm. blade, which may indicate that it was an infantry officers weapon.
