This Albanian Islamic miquelet pistol dates to the late 18th-early 19th centuries. It's characteristically encased in the filigree brass furniture, with a narrow, so-called "rat-tail" butt, prevalent in the Balkan Islamic pistols of that time period. A project for an inexpensive restoration, the pistol is missing it's top screw, one of the side screws and a trigger-guard, nevertheless is a very attractive and AFFORDABLE historical artifact that would look great on a wall next to a kilich or a shamshir.
