HUNGARIAN OR FRENCH HUSSAR SWORD CA.1790

This Hussar sword dates to the late 1700s-early 1800s, and is mounted with a 80 cm. long blade. Blade is covered with a thick dark patina. The hilt is very tight, the sword is very well balanced. the style is undoubtedly Hungarian, the sword could be French or Austrian in origin. A nice early Napoleonic cavalry saber!
