FRENCH SECOND EMPIRE M1860 NAVAL DIRK

This French Modele 1860 Poignard des Services Administratifs de la Marine is reminiscent of the Napoleonic period French naval officers dirks, with it's ebony grip and sculpted brass guard and pommel. Blade is 42 cm. long, single-edged, with two narrow fullers at the top. Blade is nice and clean with minor dark spots. Dirk is 56 cm. long overall, and is nice and tight, with a good solid feel to the ebony grip.
