FRENCH CUIRASS FRONT PLATE - KLINGENTHAL 1826

This French Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal cuirassier armor front plate is dated 1826 on the inside bottom. Metal surface has a beautiful untouched grey patina, and presents very well. Along with the manufacturr's and inspector's stamps, there are also regimental numbers scrolleed on the back, which will further facilitate establishing the regimental provenance. A rather scarce piece, dating to the short rule of the Bourbon King Charles X, which lasted only from 1824 to 1830.
