This rare silver-mounted swagger stick was presented to G.Abrahams of the 2nd King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Regiment, G Company, as a commemoration of the regimental Football Season 1902-1903. Total length is 70 cm. The Regimental emblem adorns the cap, which bears English silver hall-marks, as well as the personalized inscription. Famed 2nd King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry took part in the Boer War just a couple of years prior. Condition is superb, with both the silver furniture and the ebony shaft having no blemishes whatsoever. This is a scarce and unusual British Colonial Era military collectible that would compliment any collector's panoply of arms and militaria.
