SWEDISH SEAMAN'S KNIFE CA.1865

This Swedish seaman's knife was made by the Eskilstuna knife-maker Gustaf Johan Berg, and is marked G.JOH.BERG on the blade ricasso and the scabbard. Blade measures 8 cm. in length and shows signs of honest wear. Brass scabbard is very nicely made, with cut-out decorations in the form of a king's crown, crossed swords and a fouled anchor. 
A nice mid-19th c. Swedish seaman's knife!
