This heavy Maasai spear dates to the late 19th-early 20th centuries. 175 cm long, it features a typical Maasai spear head, also used by the Maasai as a sword, called Seme. An excellent authentic piece, not the tourist junk one encounters in a local market. Pieces like this don't come up too often.
