This Sevastopol-dug Crimean War relic dates ca.1855, and ostensibly was part of the regimental piper's uniform. It's 2cm per side, 2.5cm across, in uncleaned state, with much crud still left to remove, which I'll leave for the new owner. The shank is missing. Button was fabricated by Gilpin.
This is a nice little memento from the brave 93rd (Sutherland Highlanders) Regiment of Foot, which stood fast in the Thin Red Line.
