This Spanish Espada de Cenir para Oficial de Infanteria de Marina dates to the second hald of the 19th-early 20th centuries. Mounted with a plain, well-tempered rhomboid blade 69 cm in length, it features a hilt of brass and horn, decorated with the symbols of the Spanish Marines - crossed fouled anchors underneath the Spanish Royal Crown. A light, sturdy, and elegant weapon of the Spanish-American War period.
